Mark is a Partner, Investment Advisor and Investment Committee member here at Criterion Capital. He has more than two decades of financial services experience and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ certification as well as the Certified Public Accountant certification (currently inactive). Mark’s financial planning expertise and accountancy expertise are instrumental in engineering comprehensive customized financial and retirement plans for our clients at Criterion.
Mark’s passion is being a steward for clients and their families - objectively guiding them via their financial plan to help them ultimately meet their life’s goals.
Prior to joining the Criterion team, he worked with several firms including Merrill Lynch and Ronald Blue & Co., helping affluent clients with their financial needs. Early in his career, Mark also provided audit services with Arthur Anderson, primarily focused on the financial services industry.
Mark earned his Master of Accountancy degree from The University of Tennessee-Knoxville and his Bachelor of Accountancy degree from The University of Mississippi. He is active in the community serving as a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America and is an advocate for Tennessee public schools.
Mark and his wife, Mary, have been married over 25 years and have four children. He enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and an occasional round of golf.
